Things have been pretty crazy these past few weeks. Got plenty of work to keep me busy for awhile. Made myself a baked chicken caesar salad for pleasure today. For some reason, I find relaxation in cooking. May be I should cook more often?

Good 50×70

This is the first time for Good 50×70 to exhibit in Hong Kong. The exhibition is held at QC Gallery in Olympia City 1, West Kowloon. You have to visit and look at the posters to know if they’re good. Some of them do deliver strong messages but a few of them have misspellings. Skimmed through the guestbook and found that some visitors were a little disappointed.

北原照久 Japanese Toy Exhibition

Went to the Japanese Toy Exhibition at Cityplaza, Hong Kong. You can find more than 700 pieces of toys from the Japanese most venerable toy collector, Teruhisa Kitahara, in the exhibition. I spent almost an hour looking at every single piece and I enjoyed it soo much. Toy lovers.. don’t miss out!

Smiles Are Contagious

I was doodling in a sketch book today, and the first thing that popped into my head was a smiley face. I just had that feeling of wanting to make a poster to remind people to smile, because sometimes people tend to forget to smile but smiling is a necessary gesture in society. Smiling has great benefits for both the giver and receiver. It’s comforting, welcoming and it makes you feel good, happy and confident. Take a little effort, begin in your heart with a warm feeling and move your mouth upward into a smile. A smile is actually more contagious than the common cold. Be a carrier!

There’s One in All of Us

Where The Wild Things Are, an adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic book and a Warner Bros film, is releasing this fall. I never got to read that book, but I remember I always dreamt of being chased by freaky monsters when I was a kid. Definitely wanna see this movie. The poster is great and the trailer is simply awesome.

Japanese Classic Animation

This is pretty amazing for an animation published in 1933. The raccoon dog (Tanuki) and fox (Kitsune) are the featured demons in Japanese art, but the raccoon dog reminds me of Max Fleischer’s Felix the Cat.
